GO50 Health Walks are supported by the Big Lottery Funded “fit as a fiddle” programme and aim to encourage people of all ages to take part in local walks led by volunteers. All walks last about one hour and are suitable for people of all abilities. There will always be a leader and a back-marker to make sure everyone gets back safely.

GO50 Health Walks are ideal for people who would like to improve their health by increasing their physical activity levels. The walks are friendly and supportive and particularly beneficial to those who are getting little or no exercise, recovering from illness, or lacking in confidence. Walkers are encouraged to walk at a pace that suits them. Ideally this pace means you will feel slightly warmer, breathe a little faster and your heart will beat a little quicker.

No charge is made for the walks, but a donation would be welcome. Using the Gift Aid scheme, Age Concern Surrey can reclaim the tax on donations. All walkers will be asked to fill in a short registration form on their first walk. Please ask the walk leader for details.
Advisory Notes:
Please note that walkers take part entirely at their own risk. GO50 Age Concern Surrey cannot accept liability for any injuries or losses during the course of a walk.
