The Home Support service is available in Waverley and provides domestic support to people on a short-term basis, for 6 or 12 weeks. This is usually to cover a period of illness and is often after discharge from hospital.
The Home Support Manager visits the person’s home to discuss:
A home help who is directly employed by Age Concern Surrey will be assigned to provide support to the client. Home helps have a CRB clearance and are reference checked. They can assist with the following:
Payment is made on the first visit for a 6 week block of help by cheque or cash.
The service has a small amount of funding from the Waverley Voluntary Grants Panel.
